TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

SHIPLAH! refers to Guangzhou Shiplah! Co., Ltd, who is the billing party and acting as the carrier for the carriage of packages.

 

“User” refers to the user of the services of https://shiplah.sg, its Shipper, Consignee, Alternate Consignee or any other stakeholder of the cargo.

 

 

Pricing: AIR/SEA 

 

The price on the platform is either calculated as per actual gross weight for sea or as per actual volume weight for air whichever is higher.

Consolidation:

 

When we consolidate your packages (your whole shipment) it may be received loose or in shipping bags.

 

Packing:

 

There are multiple processes and transits before you receive your cargo. All cargoes consigned to SHIPLAH! are to be made shipping-ready. Shiplah! won’t be responsible for items destroyed or damaged due to inappropriate packing. Origin sender is to bear the damages incurred for inappropriate packing.

 

Sensitive, Dangerous, Controlled goods:

 

SHIPLAH! does not handle any Sensitive, Dangerous, Controlled goods. Should the User not respect this rule, the user/sender will be responsible to the penalties and potential laws charges by the customs from the state of Singapore.

Products that are Flammable or classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) are strictly prohibited.

Shiplah! Respect your privacy. Shall you decide to use or visit our website, you agree to all the terms and conditions.

 

Terms & Conditions of Carriage

 

Shiplah! provides a service that enables its user to buy items from e-commerce platforms outside of Singapore.

 

Liabilities:

In the event of any damages to your items at any point/step of the shipments, the maximum liability of SHIPLAH! is USD 100.00 (zero) in any legal currency.

 

The maximum liability for non-insured lost shipment is limited to USD100.00 or declared value of goods, whichever is lower.

 

User is responsible for any additional duties/ taxes that may arise:

For false declaration of content and or value, users will bear the consequences.

In case of non-controllable delays, Shiplah! Won’t be responsible.

 

Virtual Receiving Warehouse Service:

If you fail to follow the instructions in for markings, Shiplah! Will not be responsible for any loss, damages or any other reasons.

 

For non-compliance of instructions of cargo that reaches our origin warehouse, an SGD 30 handling fee will apply.

 

The limit of amount of time that your items may be stored in our warehouse for free in Origin is 1 month. The shipment will be automatically sent and billed to the user should it exceed the limit.

Should you decide to self-collect, the fee is SGD 10 per shipment /day.

 

For any shipment that contains leaking matter that leaks onto other customers package will be charged to user at SGD 20 /box for repacking at destination.

 

SHIPLAH! will not be able to influence or interfere with any non-compliance with Customs seizure of cargo at origin, destination, or transit ports. Users also indemnify SHIPLAH! from all responsibilities with regards to under-declaration or mis-declaration of cargoes.

 

User must check their shipments when delivery occurs to their indicated address. SHIPLAH!  will not be responsible for any loss and or damaged caused shall you sign the Delivery Order.

 

Last mile delivery: Our delivery vendors do not provide charter service. They will charge you:

A Redelivery Fee of SGD50 /CBM applies for no show within 20 mins when driver notify you of their arrival.

An Overtime Fee of SGD100 /CBM shall we need to deliver outside of normal working hours.

 

Un-crating Fee of SGD80 /crate if required to un-crate.

SGD60 /crate for more than 5.

Disposal is consignees’ responsibility.

 

Our last mile delivery does not apply to restricted/forbidden areas, to areas with broken path building, elevators, and hallways, and to addresses where the shipment/goods size exceed the ability to deliver via elevator or manpower with folding platform trolley cart.

 

We have the right to modify these terms should unforeseen or out-of-control events happen to the industry.

 

Upon using our services, you agree and consent to have read and accepted all the terms hereby written.

 

How To Place Order:

 

Register an account with https://shiplah.sg

Register packages with the given Consignment Note number from your seller when given.

Once your goods arrive at origin warehouse, you will be notified of the amount and the number of packages received. Our website will also send out notifications via email to inform you of cargo receipt.

 

Click consolidate when all your packages is received in the system and pay the amount to start shipping.

 

 

Make Payment

 

Before consolidating, please make sure to select the mode of transport.

Upon payment you will receive an invoice by email.

 

 

How To Monitor your shipment

 

Log in to your account and click status. Your order status will appear.

 

An automatic marking and warehouse address will be assigned to you. Please use it when putting your delivery details on your favourite e-Commerce platform.

 

Please do not change any address details or your shipment may fail or be lost.

 

Reject Package

 

Please send your claim by written email with as many details as possible such as dates, photos and reason for package rejection.

 

Limits to Measurements and Weight (Additional Charges Involved)

 

Overlength Definition

Single Length 1.8m and above

Length + Width + Height 3m and above

 

Overlength Fee: $30.00 per piece

 

Overweight Definition

Single Item 40kg and above

 

Overweight Fee:

40-60kg $40.00 /item

60.01-100kg $80.00 /item

100.01-150kg $120.00 /item

150.01-200kg $160.00 /item

200.01kg and above $0.80 per kg labour fee

 

 

Action Required

 

It is possible that you receive a notification due to your shipment being oversized or not compliant. Kindly follow the directions of the User Service in case such event happens.

 

 

How To Track Shipment

 

Please key in your tracking number in the tracking shipment box.

 

Additional Services [Please read below should your delivery fall under category which is not defined as Door to Door (Outside Door)]

 

Charter Fee is applicable if the user wants to receive the cargo at his/her preferred timing without giving our delivery a reasonable time-frame:

 

Van SGD100.00 /trip

10ft Lorry SGD130.00 /trip

14 ft Lorry SGD180.00 /trip

24ft Lorry SGD220.00 /trip

24ft Lorry Crane SGD300.00 /trip (Maximum 6000kg, should cargo exceed 6000kg additional trip will be required)

 

All our trips are on 3-hour block basis. Additional trips will be charged should job exceed the 3-hour time frame block or subsequently.

 

Each labour is limited to 50 cartons. All our labour fees are on a 3-hour block basic. Additional labour will be charged should job exceed the 3-hour time frame block or subsequently.

Overlength Fee (Cargo above 3m) of SGD150.00 per 3 CBM BLOCK will be charged for unstuffing and delivery.

 

Collection Fee of SGD10 or 10% of the outstanding amount, whichever is higher.

Disposal Fee of SGD200 /shipment if you need help to remove and dispose of packaging material.

We charge you an additional service fee for overweight and or oversized cargoes which required more manpower or special equipment for delivery

 

Any estimated delivery schedule mentioned by SHIPLAH! is a best-case estimate only as per best practise.

SHIPLAH! reserves the right to terminate your account and reject your package without giving any reason for such decision.

 

Circumstances Beyond SHIPLAH!’s Control

 

SHIPLAH! is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of circumstances beyond control.

 

Delivery Terms and Conditions of SHIPLAH!

 

All our shipping services deliver to the door (outside) unless otherwise stated, as long as your goods can fit into the building entranceways and elevator, can be delivered by a 14ft box truck, and can be moved by a maximum of 2 manpower (maximum allowed weight for manual lifting per manpower is 25KG) without special equipment (eg. forklift, crane). Consignees are required to provide a proper unloading area with a clear passage to the delivery venue not exceeding 50 metres to the nearest lift of door.

 

None of the last mile delivery drivers of SHIPLAH! is a professional moving company. If the User requests the shipment to be moved into the premises, the User is solely liable for any property damages.

We do not provide charter service unless otherwise requested.

We reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time without notice and, unless otherwise indicated, such changes will become effective immediately. Therefore, please check these terms periodically for changes.

Delivery Terms and Conditions of Shiplah!

All transactions are bounded by the Standard Trading Conditions (STC) of the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA). A copy will be provided upon request.
